OOTD: Speechless & Google Plus Milestone Giveaway!

Hello there! Hope you are having a good Thursday!

It's that time of the month again when I am feeling lazy and decide to break out of my usual book blogging to give you an OOTD post. I took these pictures in the summer (so don't feel jealous, the weather is nothing like this anymore!).

In this outfit I am wearing some denim jeans which come from Bershka and a shirt that comes from the same shop as well. I fell in love with this shirt simply because it was so big and baggy, and yet still looked good to me! It's perfect for those particularly sweltering days when it is so hot you want something very baggy but still summer-style. Here are the photos!

That's all from me today (a.k.a I don't have too much to say!)

Milestone time! 1000 Google Plus Followers!

What?! A Google Plus milestone?

I know what you are thinking - who on earth ever uses Google Plus. Well, I know I do and quite a lot actually, because it is a brilliant way of connecting to new bloggers and readers who are on the hunt for good books, giveaways and other kinds of posts. I have a few plussers who are continously supporting what I post so a huge THANK YOU for them! I also want to give back to you with this giveaway! It is sponsored by the author, so a wonderful thanks to him. He's lovely and I have reviewed his other book, Alabama stories here which you should check out. But first, let's here about his latest romance novel.

Devoted mother Cassie Carter is hard working and dedicated to running her small farm in Georgia. She tends to her home and sickly son daily while her truck driver husband is away on long hauls across the country. Her life and values take a sharp turn when a handsome and intelligent construction worker disrupts her daily routine. Her priorities shift and everything she keeps in her comfort zone is threatened.
Damaged romantic Paul Hamilton has a void in his life that leaves him wandering from affair to affair, empty and unfulfilled. He identifies with the haunting poetry of Edgar Allan Poe, yearning to capture an elusive love. One day, in an unexpected place, he discovers the love he is seeking, but she is out of his reach and he runs the risk of irreparably damaging the delicate balance he tries to maintain in his life.
In the Duck Springs Affair, Paul and Cassie’s worlds collide and explode. Will what they offer each other sustain and give them what they need out of life and love? Or, are they doomed to suffer the tragic consequences of their decisions as each searches for the perfect love?

  1. Nice pictures & congrats on the 1000 followers! I need to get in the habit of actually using my G+, and not just for syncing to my blog posts. Before I started blogging, I was on there everyday interacting with others about books, movies and television.

What would render me speechless? Witnessing a murder or someone having sex in public. LOL!

    1. G+ is a lot more helpful than some people assume it is once you know how to use it right! But yes, it's a nice way to interact with others as well. I am sure those things would render anyone speechless!

  3. Loving your pics. That's a really nice background to take pics. Yeah for your Google+ followers! What would render me speechless? ISIS to be on US soil and in fact at my door. Terrible to even think about.

  4. Congrats on the 1000 Google+ followers! It's insane hahaha and really like your outfil. I didn't know Bershka is available in the Netherlands. I thought the only Spanish fashion shop out there in the world was Zara although being from the same person, it makes sense hahaha
And there are many things that could render me speechless. A beautiful movie or the lyrics of a song. A few books hahaha and food LOL

    1. Bershka has recently become available! It used to only be in the main centers, but at some point at the beginning of this year it came to my city too! Which made me happy :3 Zara is present too.

  18. Congratulations on such an awesome milestone! I'm not a fan or even someone who comprehends google+, so I don't use that, but it's fantastic you got such a resopnse from your work on it. Does your top say "speechless"?

    1. Yes, it does say speechless! And yeah, I know a lot of people don't really use it, but there is a pretty vast adult community on there, so I have been getting into it lately!

  23. Congratulations on your first 1000! May there be many more! Speechless, only when confronted with something totally wrong. Like a bride who wants a big formal dress and to wear combat boots with it "because they're comfortable". Where do I start! :-) (True story)

    1. Thank you, Debra! Ahaha you have seen this before? Now, that is quite the something. It would be interesting to invent bridal combat shoes, if I think about it now.
